REFUND / RETURN POLICY STATEMENT



Refund Policy for Design and Programming Services


  • All Website design and programming development sales are final.

  • In most cases, design mockups are created and approved before a deposit is requested.

  • When a client approves a mockup or verbally agrees to a commitment, a detailed contract must be signed and returned with the deposit, so that both parties are clear of all requirements before proceeding.

  • A contract may be negotiated before signing but must be adhered to once a signed agreement is complete. If you agree to mock ups but fail to follow through on a contract and/or deposit, we retain the right to bill you for time taken to create the mockups at our regular hourly rate of $40.

  • Snap Builder may accept a refund request in some cases, at our discretion. A hypothetical instance where we would accept a refund request would be if Snap Builder and the client are unable to work together in a communicative and professional manner; or, if creative differences from either Snap Builder and/or the client force an end to all work relations. If this is the case, all work ceases immediately and the amount of hours used for the project thus far would be calculated and deducted from the total amount of the deposit paid. In this event, the remaining balance amount (after all project work hours are deducted) would be refunded to the client within 14 days.

Refund Policy for Hosting Services

  • All hosting plan sales are guaranteed 99% uptime and 100% client satisfaction.

  • If a refund is requested by the customer and granted by us, Snap Builder will refund a prorated amount from the recorded balance, which is the total amount paid for the hosting plan package thus far, minus any time used and/or agreed fees used in the original hosting plan agreement contract.

  • Hosting rates are billed yearly. If after 3 months you wish to relocate your website and request a refund, you would be entitled to a prorated amount.

  • If a refund request has been accepted by Snap Builder, any/all remaining monies left after the prorated charges/fees have been deducted a refund will be returned to the customer. All hosting service activities for the domain(s) will immediately cease to be served from our server(s).

  • All refund request payments typically take 5 to 10 business days from the original refund request date.

Refund Policy for Other Services

  • Other services including, but not limited to Application Development, Graphic Design, Marketing, Programming, SEO, Video, Web Design are typically titled custom projects.

  • Each project is evaluated individually to estimate the total projected costs involved in that specific project specifications, based upon the unique needs of each client.

  • Snap Builder maintains the same refund policy requests for all other hourly billed work as stated in the above Design and Programming Services Policy.

Refund/Return Policy for Printing

  • Printing costs are refundable only if the printing error is determined to be Snap Builder services fault, by our own admission. Otherwise, Snap Builder reserves the right to dispute any/all faults. Snap Builder and/or it's affiliates/partners/sub-contractors are not liable for damages incurred due to printing errors or problems from our files, if the full specifications from your printer were not provided; or, were incorrect/inaccurate; or, if you supplied the wrong files to your printer.

Chargebacks

  • If we receive a chargeback or payment dispute (i.e. PayPal Dispute) from a credit card provider or bank, your service and/or your project will be suspended without notice. A $50 chargeback fee will be added or subtracted to your project balance (issued to recover fees passed on to us by the credit company), plus any outstanding balances accrued against us as a result of the chargeback(s) must be paid in full before any service will be restored; or, files delivered; or, any further work is initiated.

  • Instead of issuing a chargeback attempt with your credit card provider, please contact us to address any billing issues you may have with our services. Requesting a chargeback from your credit card provider for valid purchase(s) and/or fee(s) you made and/or contracted from Snap Builder Web Productions website is considered fraud, and is never an appropriate or legal means of obtaining a refund.
